2010 Cup Match: $141.3 Million In Circulation
According to the Bermuda Monetary Authority, the amount of Bermuda Dollar notes and coin in circulation over this Cup Match holiday weekend is $141.3 million. This compares with a total of $137.2 million at the same period last year, an increase of 2.9 %.
The total amount of notes and coins issued to the banks by the Bermuda Monetary Authority between July 1st and 27th July (the traditional pre-Cup Match period) is $7.3 million, which is down 21.5% from the $9.3 million amount issued in Cup Match 2009.
