Winds Force East End Ferry Service Suspension
Government announced this morning [Nov. 7] that until further notice the St. George’s ferry service has been suspended due to the inclement weather.
Dockyard may also experience interruptions and an announcement will be made if services are to be suspended, said a Government spokesman.
Both a gale warning and a small-craft warning are currently in effect as Bermuda continues to be pounded by strong winds from a low-pressure system some 400 miles off the island.

They also cancelled the 8:20 a.m. service from Watford Bridge, but did not tell anyone, so dozens of commuters were left stranded. They managed to dock at Watford Bridge at 7:20, so if they decided then that it was not safe; why can they not call the radio stations to advise the public? Calling the ferry terminal does not gain any useful information!
