Island Games: Falklands Bringing 40+ Athletes
The Falkland Islands has announced their delegation for the upcoming Island Games, with over forty athletes named for the team.
The Falklands team will compete in a variety of disciplines including the 10,000 metres, 800 metres, 1500 metres and 5000 metres, 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, badminton, football, golf, shooting and swimming.
Bermuda will host the Island Games at 15 different venues across the island from 13th July until 19th July.
Bermuda is expected to field the largest team of 300 odd athletes, with Guernsey, Faroe Islands, Cayman Islands and the Isle of Wight expected to bring contingents of over 100 athletes.
