Tyrone Smith Finishes 3rd In Japan Grand Prix
Two time Olympian Tyrone Smith finished third in the Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo, Japan. Smith, facing a strong headwind, recorded a top leap of 7.61m in the men’s long jump on Sunday [May 5].
Mauro Vinicius Da Silva from Brazil won the event with a top leap of 7.99m, while Zack Visser from South Africa finished second leaping 7.84m.
The Seiko Golden Grand Prix was the third leg of the 15-round IAAF World Challenge series.
