Bradford City & Wells Lose 3-0 To Rotherham
Bermuda’s Nahki Wells and Bradford City went down 3-0 to Rotherham United in the FA Cup first-round today [Nov 9], playing in front of 7,667 fans at the New York Stadium in the UK.
Kieran Agard opened up the scoring in the 12th minute, and the two teams went into the half-time break with Rotherham leading 1-0.
Rotherham’s next goal came in the 62nd minute when Alex Revell slammed home O’Connor’s free kick at the near post to make it 2-1, and Agard scored his second goal of the match in the 71st minute to give Rotherham the 3-1 lead.
In the 82nd minute, when it was fairly obvious Rotherham was cruising to the victory, Nahki Wells was taken off, and replaced by teenager Oliver McBurnie.
In note of Remembrance Day, there was a minute’s silence before to commemorate those affected by the two World Wars and later conflicts.
The peace didn’t last long, with it reported that trouble “flared in the away end as stewards and police battle to keep City fans away from the home supporters in the adjacent stand.”
He’s finished, it’s all over.
Haters gonna hate.
