35 Minute Video: Hamilton Santa Claus Parade
Crowds filled the streets of Hamilton on Sunday [Dec 1] with people of all ages ready to watch the annual Santa Claus Parade sponsored by the Market Place and other island vendors.
The parade started at 5pm and included the Lions Club of Bermuda, Little Miss Paradise, Bermuda Long Riders Club, World of Fun Mascots, Building Blocks Academy, Ex-Artillery Elite Majorettes, Miss Bermuda Katherine Arnfield, John Barritt & Sons with the Somerset Brigade Band, Bermuda Inline Hockey Club, Party With A Princess and the Dynamic Revolution Dance Group.

Participants included In Motion School Of Dance, Bermuda Karting Club, Vice Versa Dance Team, Rated E Dance Crew, Bermuda Squad Dance Group, Sui Generis Dance Team, Dancesations, Digicel car giveaway, Disney Characters, PHC Majorettes and Drum Corps, St George’s Dancerettes, the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service mascot Sparky, Santa and his reindeer, Places New Generation Gombey Troupe and more.
The parade route started on Par-la-ville Road at the junction of Church Street with participants travelling to Front Street, turning onto Court Street then travelling onto Church Street continuing to its final destination outside the City Hall car park.
Dance/Drill teams versus Majorettes? has anyone else noticed the difference in appearance, stamina and fitness? um jus sayin…..
Yup! Sad to be called a Christmas Parade.
Mind you, with the current Mayor, not a surprise!

In a whole i think Both may 24 and the x-mas parade has gone down completely. improvements must be made to restore what has been lost.
The Grinch was definitely the only christmas dance group there unlike some of the drill and dance team/groups.
