BPW Bermuda’s Estate Planning, Wills Seminar
On Wednesday, 28 May 2014, the Business and Professional Women’s Association of Bermuda will host a lunch and learn on wills and estate planning at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, Point Pleasant Road, Hamilton from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Appleby lawyers Vanessa Lovell-Schrum and Caljonah Smith will present and share vital information on essential estate planning tools. Ms. Lovell-Schrum is a partner of Appleby [Bermuda] Limited and is the head of the Bermuda private client and trusts team. She has extensive experience on a wide range of trust and estate planning matters and has most recently been named on the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 100 list in the The International Who’s Who of Private Client Lawyers 2013.
Ms. Smith is an associate in the Private Client & Trusts department and her key areas of practice are estate planning, non-contentious trust matters and making applications for charitable organizations to be registered as charities. She has most recently been recommended by Legal 500 Caribbean 2014 as a key adviser in this practice area.
Entry fee is $5.00 for non-BPW Members and it is free for BPW Bermuda Members. A boxed lunch will be provided.
Lawyer and Former Young BPW Chairperson, Tiffany Boys shared that “the mandate of BPW Bermuda is to educate our members and women on pertinent issues. We know that many people have questions on what estate planning tools are vital for one to have and we hope that this lunch and learn will equip our attendees with the relevant information so they can put the necessary implements in place to give them peace of mind for the future”.
