A Spooky Night In Ye Olde Ghost Town
The St. George’s Foundation is getting set to host Haunted History, a Halloween party that will “wake the dead,” on November 22, 2014 [postponed from November 1] at World Heritage Centre Plaza, Penno’s Wharf, St. George’s.
The entry fee will be $125 for members and $150 for non-members, with each entry fee including food and entertainment, two drink tickets, and free ‘blood brew’ [sangria] all night, as well as access to a cash bar.
A spokesperson said, “The Bank of Bermuda Foundation graciously underwrote the cost of this event, ensuring that all funds raised go directly to our $65,000 goal.
“All proceeds will benefit The St. George’s Foundation and the work we are doing to help revitalize our town.
“The dance floor to be full all night with a live performance by ‘Best of Bermuda’ Band D.I.A. plus DJ Tan Z to keep the party going. The international food stations will take you from Spain to Peru to Brazil, and even though Halloween will be over, we’ll still have some sweet treats with desserts and a candy bar.
“True St. George’s tales will be told throughout the night and brought to life. Murder at Penno’s, a classic ‘murder mystery’ party game with a twist, will feature you as the assassin.
“And if you’re the last one standing, an incredible CellOne prize will be yours.
“Halloween may be over, but feel free to throw on a costume. No costume? No problem: visit our Costume Bar and Face Painters.
“This will be a fantastic event. Don’t miss it.”
Tickets are available at bdatix.bm, at the World Heritage Centre in St. George’s, or at GiMi on Front Street. Call 297-3686 for more information.
