Cahoot To Host A “Community Giving Event”
Cahoot is going to host a Community Giving event, and is asking people to drop off their new or gently used items on December 16th and 17th at Hamilton Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
A spokesperson said, “We are concentrating on collecting *clean/washed* children’s pajamas, slippers, shoes, winter jackets, and children’s books [specifically].
“We realise that this is typically a season for receiving. Many parents are now digging through piles of old winter clothes, to make space for the new ones. We at Cahoot would like to distribute these new or gently worn [older] winter clothes to those in need.
“Ultimately we would like for people to drop off their new or gently used items on December 16th and 17th at Hamilton Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
“We will then allow those who are in need to come and choose any item [1 to 2 pieces] of their liking from December 18th and 19th to supply to their child for Christmas.”
