Michael Stovel Wins Cricket Sportsman Award
Today [June 17] the Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced the winner of the weekly Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award for week 2 is Michael Stovel of Warwick Workmen’s Club.
The BCB said, “Michael is the Warwick U8 coach has stepped up to also coach the U11 team when their coach David Gibbons injured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament [ACL] and could no longer coach.
“Mr Stovel has also volunteered to perform the team manager duties for the Warwick Senior team which has allowed the coach to just focus on the cricket matters for the club. Mr. Stovel has dedicated his self to providing help where it’s needed for the betterment of the sport.”
