Over the past 50 years this has become a true & unique Bermuda race, starting back in the 60s out of Devonshire Bay which began with St Davids vs Devonshire Bay byes with simple Seagull powered skiffs, quickly speading to Hungry Bay byes, then Sinky Bay. Next thing you know they were coming from all over the Island & it grew & grew.
Devonshire Bay, has always been de spot bie’. As a member of the Ray family that fished out of Devonshire Bay for over 70years I can vividly recall many years, “down de bay” What happen to we lot? Bermudians seem to have lost their identity as a people, Sad yes but true!
So WHY was it moved to spanish point boat club?
