Photos: PLP Sandys Branches Hold Clean-Up
[Updated with more photos] The PLP Sandys Branches [Constituencies 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36] held a clean-up day at the Packwood Home on Saturday [July 11], with around 20 volunteers joining PLP MPs Dennis Lister, Kim Wilson, Michael Scott and Jamahl Simmons. They started work at around 8.00am, and by time they finished the volunteers had cleaned the beach, cut back the foliage, beautified the garden and cleaned the windows.
Sandys North Central MP Dennis Lister said, “For our annual Community Clean-Up we wanted to give back to our seniors in a meaningful way, to thank them for all that they have given to Bermuda, while Sandys South MP Jamahl Simmons added, “Alongside Somerset Bridge and Fort Scaur, Packwood Home is an important part of Sandys South and we welcome the opportunity to come together and give back to our seniors.”

I’d like to extended my thanks to all of them that participated…
It’s too bad others can’t give credit where / when due
How can the same water fountain bring forth sweet water and bitter?
Don’t you also believe in miracles?
Thank you very much!
Well Done and Thank You to all involved
Thank you to the PLP Western Constituencies who organized and participated in this annual clean-up event. It is wonderful to see not only the instant results of the clean-up, but the extended effects of leading community figures being role models for others in encouraging active hands-on involvement which is what it takes to make community improvements. Well done to all involved!
