Bermuda Chamber Choir “Crowning Occasion”
The Bermuda Chamber Choir is getting set to present ‘A Crowning Occasion,’ featuring The Bermuda Chamber Choir & Orchestra, directed by Kate Ross.
The show will take place on Saturday, November 7 at 7.30pm and again on Sunday, November 8 at 4.00pm.
The show, described as a “glorious tribute to our longest reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II,” will include Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Handel’s Coronation Anthems, Parry’s I Was Glad, Walton’s Crown Imperial, and Rutter’s Gloria.
A spokesperson said, “Join the Bermuda Chamber Choir and Orchestra as they celebrate the significant milestone of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II becoming the longest reigning British monarch of all time.
“A Crowning Occasion promises to be a rousing tribute featuring majestic music composed specifically for Royal Coronations.”
Adult tickets cost $40 and student tickets cost $20, while a Diamond Sponsor package is $125 [1 ticket], a Sapphire Sponsor package is $550 [5 tickets], and a Ruby Sponsor package is $1,000 [6 tickets and a Sunday Cocktail Reception]. Tickets are available at ptix.bm, Bermuda Bookstore, choir members, and at the door.
