IRM Group To Host Risk Management Training
The IRM Bermuda Group will be hosting Risk Management Training at KPMG from November 15 to November 18.
A spokesperson said, “The popular and industry leading practical training courses Embedding Risk Management, Practical Risk Appetite & Tolerance and The Essentials of Risk Reporting and Communication [designed specifically for the insurance market] will be delivered by Institute of Risk Management [IRM] approved trainer John Crawley. Crawley has extensive experience in a range of disciplines including Finance, Risk Management and Business Transformation and has been a trusted business advisor for 13 years in several public and private sectors.

Embedding Risk Management – 15 – 16 November 2016
- Create your own action plan on how to embed a risk management framework in your organisation by using Maturity and Risk Appetite models.
- Use advanced tools to break risks up into component parts
- Identify and assess behaviour barriers that pose a potential threat to successful implementation of ERM

Practical Risk Appetite and Tolerance – 17 November 2016
- The impact of your organisation’s strategy on risk appetite and tolerance
- Concepts and links between risk appetite, governance and corporate performance
- Manage, develop and asses risk appetite techniques, frameworks and monitoring tools
- Gain board and executive level buy-in for formalising the organisation’s risk appetite
