Leverock And Rawlins Selected For ICC Squad
The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] is congratulating Kamau Leverock and Delray Rawlins on their selection to the ICC Americas squad that will compete in the WICB Nagico Super 50, which begins on January 21.
Due to his professional cricket commitments in the United Kingdom, Mr. Rawlins is unable to join this squad.
The Americas team will be hosted in Barbados for its preliminary round matches and takes on CCC Marooners in its first fixture of the event on January 26. The other teams in the Americas group are Barbados Pride, Guyana Jaguars, and Jamaica Scorpions.
BCB President Lloyd Fray said, “I am very proud of the performances and continued development of Kamau and Delray who are two of the many young graduates of the BCB Academy that now dominate our senior national squad.
“I thank the WICB for providing this opportunity for players from Associate members and trust that it will be an important incentive for more of our talented youngsters to pursue. I wish Kamau all the best and look forward to some excellent performances from him.”
