17-Year-Old Remains In ICU After Shooting

The 17-year-old male who was injured in a shooting on Friday night [May 19] in the North Shore Road, Glebe Road Devonshire area remains in stable condition in the ICU.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check the 17-year-old male shot and injured around 11:15pm Friday, May 19th in the North Shore Road, Glebe Road Devonshire area remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“The investigation continues and any witnesses or persons that saw suspicious activity in the North Shore Road, Glebe Road Devonshire area around 11:15pm Friday are urged to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”

“Separately, at last check the 46-year-old motorcyclist believed to be from Smith’s parish injured in a collision with a truck around 11pm Friday, May 19th on Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish near Odyssey Drive, remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
