Optical Co. Donates To Society For The Blind
Bermuda Optical Co. this week presented a $1,000 cheque to the Bermuda Society for the Blind, with the funds to go toward renovations set to take place at Beacon House.
Nicholas Comber, a Director of Bermuda Optical Co, said, “We are very pleased to make this donation to assist the Bermuda Society for the Blind with their important work, helping people of all ages in the community who are blind or vision impaired with their practical needs.”

“The Bermuda Optical Co., over the years, has had an association with the Bermuda Society for the Blind and it is a pleasure once again to help in this small way. We would also like to encourage others to assist in whatever way they can towards this worthy cause.”
Theresa Hall, Interim Executive Director of the Society for the Blind, thanked Bermuda Optical Co. for the donation and said that it would go towards a renovation fund, as they are about to embark on a major renovation of their headquarters, Beacon House, to better serve Bermuda’s blind and vision impaired population.
Last year, in celebration of their 60th Anniversary, Bermuda Optical Co. donated $3,000 toward the Bermuda Society for the Blind.
