Court: Man Charged With Attempted Murder
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Aug 21], a 40-year-old man was charged with attempted murder in connection to the incident at the Ambiance Lounge earlier this month.
Carlton Simmons, a former Alderman with the Corporation of Hamilton, was charged with attempted murder, according to ZBM news.
Mr Simmons was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court, and he was remanded into custody by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo.
