Devwah Whaley Scores In Arkansas Win
Devwah Whaley and his Arkansas teammates put together a dominant performance to cruise past New Mexico State 42-24 in Razorback Stadium.
“Arkansas’ first drive of the day went 80-yards on nine plays capped off by a 38-yard touchdown pass from Austin Allen to sophomore Deon Stewart,” the school’s match report noted.
“The reception was the longest of Stewart’s career and marked his second touchdown of the season. It was a career day for Stewart, who finished with four receptions and 71 yards.
“With time running out in the first quarter, sophomore Whaley capped an 80-yard eight play drive with a touchdown from 3-yards out to give the Razorbacks a 14-0 lead.”
“It was Whaley’s first touchdown since week 1 against Florida A&M. Whaley recorded 119 yards on the ground against the Aggies for his first 100-yard rushing performance of the season.
