Results: Bermuda Long Course Invitational
The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association Winter Long Course Invitational took place at the National Sports Center in windy and wet conditions.
Local competitors as well as at swimmers from the visiting Germantown Academy took on the challenge in the pool.
Madelyn Moore won the Women’s 15 & Over 100 LC Meter Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:00.11, German Town Academy swimmer Emma Atkinson finished second stopping the clock in a time of 1:01.25, with Ashley Irby finishing third in 1:06.28.
Brian Desmond won the 13-14 Boy’s 100 LC Meter Freestyle clocking 58.95, Caleb Ingham was second in 1:02.41 and Finn Moseley finished third with a time of 1:04.02.
The Men’s 15 & Over 100 LC Meter Freestyle was won by Jesse Washington who clocked a winning time of 51.96, Germantown Academy’s Marc Arsever was second in 59.89 and Keagan Woolley finished third with a time of 59.98.
Jaedyn Judd recorded a Personal Best time on her way to winning the 11-12 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke clocking 1:20.31.
Germantown Academy finished in the top three positions in the Men’s 15 & Over 200 LC Meter Breaststroke with Jack Lafond clocking a winning time of 2:40.43, Jake Rabbiner was second in 2:51.04 and Jack Forde finished third stopping the clock in a time of 2:52.10.
During the 13 – 14 Women’s 50 LC Meter Backstroke Gabriela Pitman clocked a winning time of 36.95, while Germantown Academy’s Caroline Osman won the Women’s 15 & Over 50 LC Meter Backstroke with a time of 37.31 her teammate Isabelle Goldstein finished second in 39.51.
