Photos & Video: DHPC Harness Pony Racing
[Updated with photos] The Driving Horse & Pony Club [DHPC] is hosting another round of harness pony racing this afternoon [Jan 28] at the National Equestrian Centre on Vesey Street in Devonshire. The event is still underway as of this writing and we will add photos and results as able, and in the meantime the live video replay is below.

There was plenty of excitement at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street in Harness Pony Racing as a new Gelding Record was set by Darico Clarke in the bike of Cherokee’s Ironman.
The pair clocked a time of 1:02.00, which was the fastest time this season and takes the Second Place spot on the Tracks All Time Top 10, moving his time of 1:02&2 set back in 2017 into third place, Big Red Machine still holds the Track Record of 1:01&4 set in 2012.
In the closest finish of the day Pocket de Gold with Christian Truran in the bike clocked time of 1:04&1 during the 1:04&2 & Faster Time Bar Class, they were judged to finish just ahead of Reel Patrol and Andrea Westerfield who had the same time, Andy Stoneham in the bike of Custard the Dragon was third in 1:04&3.
In the 1:11 & Slower Time Bar Classkool the Fire and Tahzii flood clocked a winning time of 1:13&4, with Maurice Raynor in the bike of Catch Me If You Can second in 1:14&4.

With a time of 1:07 flat, Kirista Rabain in the bike of Rock on won the 1:06&1 – 1:07&1 Time Bar Class Race, Casey Truran in the bike of Inwoods Generation was second in 1:07&2 and Candyce Martins in the bike of Inwoods Progress was third in We are pleased with the team results from the Lancaster Archery Classic held in Lancaster, PA on 26 and 27 January 2018.
