Clemons Scores In Professional Debut In Sweden
Bermuda’s Willie Clemons made a very impressive professional football debut, scoring for his Swedish football club Bodens as they played to a 2-2 draw against Hudiksvall today.
Clemons had signed for the Swedish team last month, with the club saying “he is a very exciting and entertaining player that we think will bring a lot to our team.”
The young footballer proved their point in emphatic fashion today, as he started for the team and scored their first goal.
“It was a good performance of the guys and I am pleased with the team,” said Bodens coach Tomas Eriksson.
Well done, Clemens.
Glad you departed Bermuda to pursue your soccer dreams. We Bermudians salute you and are tremendously proud of your recent accomplishments.
Well done Willie, we are very proud of you.
