I’m glad that no one was seriously hurt. But did they really have to divert the BA flight WOW! There are gonna be some vax people on board that flight when they find out what really happened.

    • Metfish says:

Well, being that BDA only has one runway, I’m not sure how BA could have landed at BDA.

    • Hmmm says:

Yes. they did… the BA (or any other flight for that matter) cannot land with people on the runway… to hell with people being vexed!!

Common sense is not so common huh?

    • facts of the rock says:

No body cares how many “vax” people,if any, on board that BA flight.

  2. arnold says:

Considering the cost/benefit when one private aircraft results in the diversion of 3 commercial aircraft…

    • Bda says:

Regardless it’s still a plane crash and it has to be dealt with a certain way

    • Scott says:

The cost/benefit of the diversion is that there are no further people/aircraft mishaps while the teams are dealing with this one.

It’s a headache for the airlines, no doubt, but the airport is not solely for commercial use.

For those who worry about how the passengers are feeling about their delay, have a think of how the c172 pilot if feeling right now..

    • What?? says:

One diversion. Two delayed. Happens all of time due to weather or other reasons. Not that big of a deal.

    Hope she’s ok.

The use of the Bermudian accent used in written grammar is what’s vexing. It’s dated and hard for non Bermudians to understand.
