Sailors Continue US Midwinter Championships
Bermuda sailors were back on the waters of New Orleans to compete in the United States Optimist Dinghy Association Midwinter Championship, where a total of 234 sailors are competing.
A total of 5 races have been sailed this far, Sebastian Kempe leads the Bermuda Fleet as he is 10th overall with 20 Net Points. Kempe has picked up two wins in the five races sailed to go along with a 5th, 13th and a Black Flag Rule Start which officials ruled he was on the course side when the race started, so he has thrown that race out.
Laura Hupman is 21st and is in 4th place in the Girls Fleet with 43 Net Points, Christian Ebbin is 22nd with 44 net Points.
Rachael Betschart finds herself in 37th place with 56 Net Points, while Magnus Ringsted is in 74th with 95 Net Points.
Millie Lewis is currently 97th with 116 Net Points and Nicole Stovell is 131st with 147 Net Points.
