Digicel Extend ‘Gift Of More’ Beyond Customers
Digicel is extending their “Gift of More” campaign beyond customers, donating smartphones, prepaid service, and funds to the Coalition for the Protection of Children.
A spokesperson said, “This Christmas, Digicel Bermuda is extending their ‘Gift of More’ campaign beyond customers. Digicel has partnered with The Coalition for the Protection of Children so that they can help kids that are in need this holiday season.
“Digicel donated smartphones, prepaid service, as well as a monetary donation for children aged 10-13. Staff of the company also got involved donating gift certificates to various Bermudian business for the preteens.
“The holidays are a reminder that there are many, especially children who are left without. The Coalition for the Protection of Children is a vital charity to Bermuda due to their avocation for children. The Coalition give a voice for the ones that cannot be heard, our youth. Through their programs at risk children and families receive much needed help and support.”
Donn Foggo, Marketing Manager, said, “There is no greater feeling than that of helping others, I am glad to work for a company such as Digicel who not only agrees with this, but acts on it. It is important for Digicel to assist where need be in the community, not just during the holiday season, but all year around.”
“The donations were presented to Kelly Hunt of The Coalition for the Protection of Children, on December 15th. Digicel hopes that the donation brings the children joy this Christmas.
