Police Confirm Death Of 70-Year-Old Woman
The police have confirmed the death of a 70-year-old woman following a collision that took place on Vesey Street in Devonshire this afternoon [Dec 26].
A police spokesperson said, “Police can now confirm the death of a 70-year-old woman who died as a result of a collision that took place on Vesey Street in Devonshire, at 12:24pm today.
“Upon police arrival it was ascertained that a female was trapped under a car.
“Bermuda Fire and Rescue were on the scene and extricated the woman from under the car. She was transported via ambulance to KEMH where she died as a result of her injuries.
“No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified and the Roads Policing Unit would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the collision. Witnesses are asked to contact 2950011.”
