Police Confirm: Man Dies Following Shooting
[Updated with video] A 33-year-old man has died following a shooting in the Rambling Lane area in Pembroke early this morning [Dec 10], the police have confirmed.
Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “Police and other first responders attended a report of a firearms incident that took place outside of a residence on Rambling Lane in Pembroke at 3am this morning [Monday].
“Details are still emerging, but it appears that a 33-year-old male was shot outside of his residence and taken to the hospital via ambulance where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
“No further information on the deceased will be given until the next of kin have been notified. An investigation into the incident is now underway and officers from the Forensic Support Unit and the Serious Crime Unit are now processing the scene.”
Police can be seen blocking the area, which is located off of Parson’s Road in Pembroke, with a police car blocking the entrance to Rambling Lane. We will update with a video statement as able.
