Bermuda Continue Competing in Cayman Islands
The Bermuda Basketball Association Junior Men’s National team continue to compete at the Cayman Sports Festival being in the Grand Cayman Islands.
The tournament is a Double Round Robin event and the team with the best record will be champions. Bermuda are now 0 & 3 in the festival after going down to Port Arthur and host Cayman Islands on day two.
Bermuda went down 78 – 57 to Port Arthur in the opening game of the day. Bermuda got 13 Points from Jorel Smith, who also added 2 rebounds, and 3 assist. Christian Liyanage scored 11 points and he had 3 rebounds and 1 assist.
In their second game of the day, Bermuda went down 70 – 47 to Cayman Islands. For the third straight game, Smith led Bermuda in scoring with 10 points. He grabbed 3 rebounds and 1 assist, while Jadon Springer scored 9 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and 1 assist.
