Dr. Ewart Brown Holds Book Signing In New York
More than 200 guests packed the Katie Murphy Amphitheater at New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology on Sunday evening [Dec 15] for the New York book signing for Dr. Ewart Brown’s new book, “Whom Shall I Fear?”
“The event was hosted by Dr. Joyce Brown, President of FIT and her husband, former New York State Comptroller and former Democratic Gubernatorial nominee, Carl McCall,” a spokesperson said.
“The audience was treated to a “fireside chat” interview of the author by original “The View” host, Star Jones. Also in attendance was movie and television star, Vanessa Callaway, whose latest work was as the mother of Harriet Tubman in the popular screenplay “Harriet”.
“Kathleen Battle, renowned opera star and friend of the Browns, surprised the author with a few a capello bars from the “The Lord is my Light.”
