Winter Age Group Championships Final Day
After three days of competition, the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association’s Winter Age Group Championships concluded at the BASA Pool.
It was yet another challenging day for the swimmers with windy and chilly conditions.
Josephine Duerden won the 13-14 Girls 400 SC Meter Freestyle when she touched the wall in a time of 4:48.63, Myeisha Sharrieff was second clocking 4:52.29 and Bella Howes finished third with a time of 5:01.31.
During the Girls 15 & Over 400 SC Meter Freestyle Taylor White clocked a winning time of 4:35.74, Tayla Horan was second in 4:46.02 and Alyson Scherer finished third with a time of 4:48.67.
The 13-14 Boys 400 SC Meter Freestyle title was won by Brandon Adkins who clocked a winning time of 4:36.09, Flynn Watson-Brown was second in 4:43.82 and Harlan Watson-Brown was third clocking a time of 5:01.65.
Brian Desmond picked up another Freestyle win as he was clocked at 4:08.17 on his way to winning the Boys 15 & Over 400 SC Meter Freestyle, Nick Pilgrim was second clocking a time of 5:01.59 and Zenji Damani was third with a time of 5:24.81.
