Single Lane Closures On Kindley Field Road
There will be single traffic lane closures on sections of Kindley Field Road from Thursday [Jan 16] to Sunday [Jan 19] to accommodate trench work for the new airport construction.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works advises the motoring public of single traffic lane closures on sections of Kindley Field Road from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19th January 2020.
“The lane closures are being made to accommodate trench work for the new airport construction.
“As a result, sections of Kindley Field Road will become single-lane two-way traffic.
“Traffic flow will be coordinated through the use of stop and go traffic control signs put in place and managed by Aecon.
“For questions regarding these lane closures, please contact Mason Lamarche at Aecon Airport Constructors on 533-0075.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the public’s full cooperation and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience.”
I’d like to know what is being done specifically.

One is already running into the water via stone crusher corner.
Just an enquiry…I’ll call W&E tomorrow.
