Video: Rainbow, Wind, Waves On North Shore
With a Gale Warning in effect for today [Jan 17], the island is experiencing windy conditions, and the video below shows a look at a rainbow over the normally calm North Shore waters in Devonshire this afternoon.
The Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning for today, and their forecast states, “Gales will become strong gusty squalls this evening through tonight as the pressure squeeze eases.

“However cold air continues to descend over the area and will drop our overnight low to near or just below 50F/10C. Later on Saturday fleeting high pressure passes nearby and a brief warming occurs on Sunday, then strong wind returns with wet conditions on Monday as another front crosses the Island.”

Bermuda is getting colder every winter. Scientists predict that as the Gulf Stream starts to slow anything east of the Gulf Stream will get colder and anything west of the Gulf Stream will get warmer. So go out any buy your electric blankets! And try to cut your carbon footprint!
