208 Points Scored In Basketball Double Header
Basketball fans were treated to a total of 208 points inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium as the Bermuda Basketball Association Winter League season resumed.
The first game saw the Pembroke Twisters defeat the Warwick Rimrockers 61 – 44. Dion Easton had a double-double on the way to leading the Pembroke Twisters who were down by 6 going into the final period to victory. Easton scored 16 points, 12 rebounds, 1 steal 2 block shots and 2 assists. Ronald Bushner scored 15 points 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist for the Warwick Rimrockers.
The second game saw Bermuda College defeat St. George’s Hoopstars 57 – 46. Joel Smith scored 27 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 5 assists for the Bermuda College, while Adam Correia scored 10 points and had 4 rebounds for the St. George’s Hoopstars.
