Police To Host West End Community Meetings
The police are encouraging residents of Warwick, Southampton, and Sandys to attend upcoming community meetings.
A police spokesperson said, “Western Area Commanders of the Bermuda Police Service will be hosting a series of community meetings to provide updates on policing activities over the past 12 months and to hear directly from residents about their concerns and priorities for the western community.
“Residents of Warwick, Southampton, and Sandys parishes are encouraged to attend the meetings scheduled as follows:
- “Residents of Warwick Parish: Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church Hall, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- “Residents of Southampton Parish: Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Vernon Temple Church Hall from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- “Residents of Sandys Parish: Thursday, May 8, 2025, at St. James Church Hall, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Inspector Cerepha Bridgeman, Second-in Charge of Somerset Police Station stated, “These meetings provide an important opportunity for open dialogue between the Bermuda Police Service and the public. We look forward to sharing updates on our work and hearing first hand from the communities we serve.”
A police spokesperson added, “The Bermuda Police Service encourages all residents of the western parishes to attend and participate in these important discussions.”
