Toronto Flight: All Passengers Test Negative
All passengers on the airbridge flight from Toronto tested negative for Covid-19, Premier David Burt said.
Premier Burt tweeted the photo below, saying: “S/O to @CarikaElshae, @DrAmneO and their team of talented, young Bermudians at MDL at Southside for facilitating the testing & processing of results for passengers aboard the airbridge flight from Toronto within a 5 hour time frame! All passengers tested negative for Covid-19.”

This is superficially good news, but correct me if I’m wrong – the test wouldn’t identify the virus during the early incubation stage of infection, so I hope these negative results do not give the passengers a false sense of security and slack off keeping themselves quarantined at home.
How many passengers were there, and having tested negative are they still required to quarantine? Surely this is the sort of information to release as it helps in understanding what may take place when the commercial flights resume.
Does that mean they don’t have to isolate
This is great news, but will passengers be tested again after 14 days as the virus takes 14 days to manifest?
