“National Hoodie Day” Draws 750 E-Attendees

February 24, 2010

Formed in protest to the Government’s recent so called ‘anti-hoodie’ law, the event has attracted 750 “attendees” as of this writing.

Entitled ‘National Hoodie Day’, it wasn’t actually a literal event but an event listed on the popular social network Facebook.

Listed under ‘Causes/Protests’ their event description says:

In light of our Governments recent proposal to ban hoodies, we are going to protest by wearing them.

Clothes don’t make a man, nor do they make his decisions. The key to solving violence in Bermuda needs a deeper reform than getting rid of hoodies. What the Government really should be doing is reaching out to the family’s instead because it starts from home.
