7 Yr Old Author to Launch Book on April 20
Next week Tuesday seven-year-old Malaikah Abdul-Jabbar will launch her first book “Stop The Shooting”.
The Book launch will take place on April 20,2010 at City Hall between the times of 4:00- 6:00 pm. The book will be on sale for only $10.00 and will be available to be signed by the author Malaikah.

Malaikah, a Victor Scott student, was compelled to write the book after becoming upset over the shootings, especially the shooting death of a school mates father.
The book looks at the shootings that have plagued Bermuda recently through the insightful eyes of a child, with the opening line being “Please stop the shooting, it can spread everywhere”. Not only did Malaikah author the book all by herself, she also did all the illustrations for the book.
