Residents of the western parishes [Warwick, Southampton and Sandys parish] are invited to attend this forum to discuss the state of affairs in the area for the past six months and to hear the attending Police officers present the policing initiatives for the next six months.

Representing the Bermuda Police Service at Thursday’s meeting will be Western Area Commander Chief Inspector Tyrone Smith and officers from the Western Community Action Team.

The Police say the purpose of these town hall meetings is to allow public feedback and discussion by residents of policing initiatives while emphasizing Police working in partnership with the community.

Sating citizen focus is high on their agenda, the Police aim to obtain a clear understanding of what members of the public want, what matters the most and what is important to individual neighbourhoods and communities.

The third in a series of town hall meetings for 2010, the first was on Feb 24 at Cedarbridge Academy with the second meeting held on March 16 at the Francis Patton Primary School.
