The day is not a public holiday, nor is Monday 14, 2010 a public holiday. The only public holiday in the month of June is National Heroes Day, which will be observed on Monday 21st June 2010.
Well isn’t that grand. Her Majesty has been downgraded from a National holiday to a weekend gig.
I guess the old saying “if we don’t get a holiday we’ll all run away” is the irony to all this.
Streets closed, retail sales down, disruptions on a working day.
I give up.
I hope everyone arrives and is attired in pink…………………….
Terry – you’re right. But think +ve. It could have been renamed Ewart’s Birthday Parade.
I will reply to your comments later.
Like my Father said, God bless him……………”When the green tops of the onion wilt and turn …………..BROWN…..it’s time to harvest.
Prophesy……………………
Terry.
Don’t worry about the spelling…………..the message is clear.
