FACT: Economically, Bermuda can not aford to take paid public holidays.

We are up to our eye balls in debt .

We need to get our priorities in order.

Are we are still living in the dark ages.

New York is the city that never sleeps.

Other tourist destination do not sleep either.

Consiquently our visitors wonder why they they came here in the first place.

We want food on the table we have to work for it.

What if every body wanted the day off the island woud come to a stand still, esential services would shut down .

Tourism is an esential service .

All public events should be re – scheduled over the week ends to lessen the impact as Bermuda’s economic situation can not survive when our visitors come here only to find our doors closed .
