Wytiko Showers & Tamia Place Continue Sweep
Wytiko Showers [pictured] and Tamia Place continue to dominate the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club’s [BMRC] Heart2Heart National Championship Series in the GP80 and Minibike classifications respectively. Four race events in; both riders are holding onto their undefeated positions with a record eight 1st place finishes.
In addition to Wytiko and Tamia, dominating Sunday’s race event at the Bermuda Motorsports Park in Southside St. David’s were Cyril Whitter in the Superbike class, Ed Cook in the Formula class and Bruce Degrilla in the 125cc class.
The highlight of the day was the intense battles between Robert Devent and Andrew DeCosta in the GP125 class; Robert was back in his racing form (seen in season past) and swapped spots with Andrew at every turn. As the season progresses riders will be pressing the limits to secure the coveted top spots; with increasingly technical tracks in the line-up, the featured hairpin turns promise to make the season full of action. BMRC will be back on track on July 11 @ 1:30 p.m. This day will pay tribute to our fallen champions; Marvin “Skinny” Robinson, Kyle Pimental and Toriano “The Animal” Wilson.
