Body Found Floating In Paradise Lakes
Around 9pm tonight [July 1], the Police received a report of a body floating in the waters of Hamilton Harbour, in the vicinity of Paradise Lakes.
The Police say that the deceased is apparently a male in his fifties. Inquiries into this incident are underway, and the Police will not be releasing any further information until the next of kin has been notified. We are expecting an update from the Police with further details on this situation tomorrow.
Update July 2 9am: We have unofficial and unconfirmed information that the man was boating, and may have fallen off the boat. His identity, although becoming widely known in the community this morning, has not been officially confirmed yet.
Update 5pm: Police identify man as 56 year old Colin Brown of Warwick.
