Warwick Suns Win Basketball League Title
Last night’s [July 26] Bermuda Basketball Association women’s finals held at the Bermuda College saw the Warwick Suns defeat defending champions St. George’s Storm to take the summer league title. With a final score of 23-11, League MVP Marissa Wainwright was the Warwick Suns top scorer with 10 points, and Akeila Furbert added 5. The St. George’s Storm top scorer was Kimale Evans who scored 6 points.
