Videos: Associated Press On Island For Hurricane
One of the world’s leading new agencies is on island now, presumably to cover any potential impact we may suffer due to Hurricane Danielle. Rich Matthews of the Associated Press [AP] has filed the video report below on the Hurricane, which features very “non-hurricane” looking beach video as well as interviews with visitors to the island.
The second video report below from the AP was filmed today [Aug 28], and is set on Horseshoe Bay:
Mr Matthews has traveled extensively previously, and covered notable news stories including the Gulf Oil disaster, Haiti earthquake and the inauguration of US President Barack Obama. The AP is a cooperative owned by its contributing newspapers, radio and television stations in the United States, which both contribute stories to the AP and use material written by its staff journalists. AP’s photograph library consists of over 10 million images, they operate over 200 news bureaus, and have an international staff over 4,000 strong located all over the world. Their 2009 revenue was over $650 million.
