Video: Louis Farrakhan’s Staff On Bermuda Trip

August 28, 2010

The video below shows FirstWork Media interviewing staff members who traveled to Bermuda with Nation of Islam’s Minister Louis Farrakhan in July of 2009.

Staff members continue on to say the trip was “hectic”, and they went from “when you can’t see at morning, till you can’t see at night.” They stressed that although Bermuda is perceived as an “island paradise”, the Minister wasn’t “sitting under a palm tree with a drink with an umbrella in it.” Also during the video one of the Minister’s production staff says he “honestly wanted to stop this beautiful island from becoming a killing field.”

Numerous locals can be seen on the 6-minute video below including various politicians, Eugene Dean of the Imperial Group, Bryan Darby from VSB, Miss Thang from Hott 107.5 and more.

Louis Farrakhan, an American of West Indian parentage, is the National Representative of the Nation of Islam, and an advocate for black interests. Minister Farrakhan has been both widely praised and criticized for his often controversial political views and rhetorical style.
