June 2010 Consumer Price Index

August 9, 2010

Consumers paid 2.6% more in June 2010 than they did a year ago for the CPI basket of goods and services. However, this rate of inflation was slightly lower than the 2.8% measured a month ago. Between May and June of 2010, the average cost of goods and services in the Consumer Price Index fell 0.1%. The all-items index declined from the 113.5 index points recorded last month, to 113.4 in June 2010. This means that the basket of goods and services that cost $100.00 in April 2006 now cost $113.40 in Bermuda.
