This is one of the best presentations of a photo I have ever seen.

One can read so much into the photo and think of many things.

I gazed at it for five minutes, went outside had a beer and a ciggy came back and gazed some more.

I haven’t had a beer nor ciggy in four hours which is good but I still see what I see. Use your imagination about the picture/photo….

What do I see you ask.

I see four strong men surounding a woman that is the backbone of Bermuda. I see men standing tall and taking strides to overcome obsticles and do their best. I see them looking forward to more medals, maybe more than gold or silver or bronze. Medals of honor and dignity and self esteme.

Oh the lady in the middle? What can I say. I already said “backbone”.

The women today do so much to maintain a semblance of calm and I thank them more than you’ll ever know.

Step up guys just like the photo proves………it’s all about team work, dedication, sacrifice, and humility.

Remember those/these faces. Hopefully they will be the ones you see in ten years as you walk the streets and are greeted by them when they leave the House of Assembly as your Premier and Cabinet.

    Too soon some may say.

    I say,……the sooner the better.

    Now..back to normal programmin…I need a ciggy………………………
