Apology For Our Technical Difficulties
As our early morning readers and those signed up for our email mailing list will have noticed, we experienced temporary technical difficulties early this morning, which we must apologize for.
Sometime between 1am and 4am today [Oct 8], the last group of articles we posted over the previous 24 hours disappeared from view on the website. We managed to restore them, however for a short period they weren’t visible and the mailing list sent out the articles posted approximately 48 hours prior, basically repeating the previous days.
The was caused by an error on our host’s end, done while making a change in expectation for an upgrade we are working on. We apologize for the temporary “vanishing act” Bernews did this morning, and will endeavour to prevent it occurring again.
