Motorbike Catches Fire This Morning
At approximately 8am this morning [Oct 8] a motorbike caught fire in Devonshire. The Bermuda Fire Service said a call came in at 8:03am reporting a bike fire on Middle Road outside of Island Construction.
A fire appliance arrived on scene at 8:09am with five personnel to find the bike fully engulfed in fire.
The Bermuda Fire Service quickly extinguished the fire, taking approximately one minute to extinguish the fire. Officials say the cause is yet to be determined.

Do we know if anyone was harmed?
Sorry, but we cannot 100% confirm yet, thats why its not listed…but hopefully not.
We didn’t see any signs of anyone being injured, and the Fire Service would generally let us know that upon our asking, and they didn’t say anything to that effect.
Hopefully we get some confirmation on that later today…
The last time I found a burning vehicle in that area in the early 70′s there was a body not far away. Just my thoughts, thats all. Then again, maybe just another stolen vehicle. Many senarios…….(sp)…..
