PALS 30th Anniversary Concert & Workshop
This year PALS celebrates it’s 30th anniversary with a two-part event to celebrate the occasion, as well as raise funds to continue their valuable work in the community.
PALS (formerly Patients Assistance League and Service) was founded in 1980 to provide service to allow cancer patients to remain in their homes rather than being hospitalised. There is no charge for the services of PALS nurses, nor for the use of medical equipment and medical supplies. These services are available to all cancer patients who need them.
The first event is concert featuring Jana Stanfield to be held next Friday night [Oct 29] at BUEI, and the second is the day workshop for the ‘Dream, Dare, Dance’ all day on the Saturday, Oct 30th. For more information on either event call PALS at 236-7257.
